COFFEE SHOPS Giuliano Caffè was founded by Michele Giuliano Albo and is now run by his daughter Maria Teresa and her husband Federico Minelli. Their philosophy is one of product quality and customer service. Here the finest arabica coffee from Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Kenya and India, and robusta from Africa are carefully selected and every batch is checked to see that it meets the establishment’s high standards of quality. The whole production cycle, from lending to packaging, is car- ried out in the Caluso plant. Special attention is paid to toasting, the most delicate phase in the process in which aroma, flavor and body mingle to create full-bodied, aromatic, balanced blends. Giuliano Caffè makes and sells three blends: espresso italiano (95% arabica), gran miscela (80% arabica) and gran aroma (60% arabica). Giuliano Caffè sells mainly to bars and cafés and companies, sectors in which it operates successfully thanks to the quality of its blends and the consultancy service it offers its clients. 305

Le miscele selezionate in giro per il mondo provengono da Porto Rico, Messico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Etiopia, Bra- sile e Costa Rica; presente anche un “monsonato” indiano. Tra le miscele ideate dai Mina menzioniamo: l’unicum Fugace (100% arabica monovarietale), la gour- met Puerto Turquino (100% arabica, blend di varietà uniche), la classica Gran Gusto (70% arabica e 30% robusta), la delicata Gran Espresso (90% arabica e 10% robusta). Delle ultime due miscele e del decaffeinato sono anche disponibili le versioni in capsule e cialde, che mantengono inalterate le caratteristiche or- ganolettiche di partenza. È di prossima realizzazione un servizio di e-commerce che permetterà l’acquisto on- line dei prodotti. In negozio potrete trovare anche alcune chicche dolciarie e distillati.
