ICE-CREAM PARLORS<br />

The San Pé farm grows the strawberries, peaches, apricots and blackcurrants, the milk<br />

comes from cattle that graze freely in the surrounding meadows and the eggs are<br />

always fresh daily. “Agrigelateria” a farm cum ice-cream parlor, maybe the first establish-<br />

ment of its kind in Europe to self- produce most of the raw materials necessary to make<br />

fine ice-cream. And wherever home production is impossible, only the best quality natural<br />

products — such as lemons from the Amalfi Coast, Pancalieri peppermint, and the Langa<br />

tonda e gentile hazelnut —are bought in. At the San Pé farm, it is also possible to buy raw<br />

milk. School parties are welcomed and, in the course of their visits, are served with snacks<br />

of home-baked cakes and biscuits.<br />

Open every day from May to September, in autumn and spring only from Friday to Sunday.<br />

Closed from November to February. The farm’s ice-creams are also on sale at Agricafé, via<br />

Bossolasco 6, Turin, and at Eataly in Turin and Pinerolo.<br />
