This is applicable at places where the pipe line ends to feed wet land where the pressure head is low (see, Chart 4.1, for understanding the functioning <strong>of</strong> the MCS). The MCS is implemented in farmers' plots not by acquiring the plot. but with the legal consent <strong>of</strong> the farmers or the public under the provisions <strong>of</strong> the CADA act. The \1CS schemes taken up in the KIP are sent to CADA for appro"'al and later it is published in the gazette for the information <strong>of</strong> the farmers! public before the scheme IS taken up.
