Kulakkada branch and Kottiyam branch out <strong>of</strong> which. Oyoor branch is the only one completed. Twenty five distributaries have been fully completed in the LB canal system while II distributaries are to be completed. Regarding MCS. the work <strong>of</strong> 28902 ha. are reportedly completed and schemes were prepared and works arranged for 1170 I ha., which are in progress. Schemes are yet to be prepared for 21027 ha. including the Phase II portion. Thus, the total anticipated extent <strong>of</strong>MCS works is 32728 ha. 4.2.7 Financial requirement for balance works It was estimated that an amount <strong>of</strong> RS.620 crores will be required for the completion <strong>of</strong> the project as per the 1992 schedule <strong>of</strong> rates.
