POLÍTICAS CULTURALES EN LA NICARAGUA POST-SANDINISTA:MODELOS LETRADOS, GENEALOGÍA Y NUEVAS INTERVENCIONES 1Leonel Delgado AburtoEl foro reunió a un grupo significativo de creadores, grupos y organizaciones, políticamenteplural, preocupados por una eventual redefinición de la política culturalque podría esperarse tras la llegada del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional(fsln) al gobierno ese mismo año. En cierto sentido, el foro incitaba a la aperturade un diálogo entre la organización civil de la cultura y los responsables de lapolítica cultural oficial. Estos últimos, aunque invitados, no estuvieron presentes.De todas maneras, se advertirá en el texto una especie de amago dialógico frenteal Estado, el que se hizo patente también en los debates del foro. En general, seenfatizó la necesidad de una intervención estatal que recolocara la cultura comoelemento fundamental del quehacer nacional. Este debate sigue pendiente. Alparecer el crecimiento de la polarización política en los últimos años ha impedidoque tal debate florezca de verdad.A cambio de confrontar este aspecto decisivo, sin embargo, mi texto trata depensar en la articulación de la cultura nacionalista/vanguardista con las políticasculturales “tácitas” y las posibles. Para esto propone la urgencia de un estudiodisciplinado (por la Universidad sobre todo) de los fenómenos, contextos y actoresinvolucrados. Este estudio disciplinado se ve amenazado en el presente por laescasa importancia que las ciencias sociales y las humanidades tienen para las mismasuniversidades del país, las que han focalizado sus quehaceres en ámbitos mástecnocráticos. Cierta partidización de los ámbitos académicos en los últimos añosimplica el mismo desdén por los saberes, esta vez por razones más explícitamenteideológicas. El “notabilismo” (la función iluminista del intelectual tradicionalque pretende ejercer el saber de manera autoritaria) es otra instancia que opera encontra de una apertura crítica de los saberes. ¿Cómo entender genealógicamenteesta situación? Es la pregunta que intenta plantear mi texto.1 La base de este texto es mi intervención en el Foro “Movimientos culturales y la política del Estado nicaragüense. Análisis crítico y propositivo”(Managua, 2 de junio de 2007), organizado por la Red Nicaragüense de Escritoras y Escritores (Renies).235
