Job.17:5 He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
th meridi anaggelei kakiaV ofqalmoi de mou ef' uioiV etakhsan
Job.17:6 He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.

Job.17:7 Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

Job.17:8 Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the
hypocrite.

Job.17:9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger
and stronger.

Job.17:10 But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.

Job.17:11 My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.

Job.17:12 They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.

Job.17:13 If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.

Job.17:14 I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my
sister.
qanaton epekalesamhn patera mou einai mhtera de mou kai adelfhn saprian
Job.17:15 And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?

Job.17:16 They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.

Job.18:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
upolabwn de baldad o saucithV legei
Job.18:2 How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

Job.18:3 Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?
dia ti wsper tetrapoda sesiwphkamen enantion sou
Job.18:4 He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be
removed out of his place?

Job.18:5 Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.
kai fwV asebwn sbesqhsetai kai ouk apobhsetai autwn h flox
Job.18:6 The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

Job.18:7 The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

Job.18:8 For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

Job.18:9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.

Job.18:10 The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.
