Gen.21:24 And Abraham said, I will swear.<br />

kai eipen abraam egw omoumai<br />

Gen.21:25 And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech's servants<br />

had violently taken away.<br />

kai hlegxen abraam ton abimelec peri twn freatwn tou udatoV wn afeilanto oi paideV tou<br />

abimelec<br />

Gen.21:26 And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing; neither didst thou tell me, neither<br />

yet heard I of it, but to day.<br />

kai eipen autw abimelec ouk egnwn tiV epoihsen to pragma touto oude su moi aphggeilaV oude egw<br />

hkousa all' h shmeron<br />

Gen.21:27 And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them<br />

made a covenant.<br />

kai elaben abraam probata kai moscouV kai edwken tw abimelec kai dieqento amfoteroi diaqhkhn<br />

Gen.21:28 And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.<br />

kai esthsen abraam epta amnadaV probatwn monaV<br />

Gen.21:29 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast<br />

set by themselves?<br />

kai eipen abimelec tw abraam ti eisin ai epta amnadeV twn probatwn toutwn aV esthsaV monaV<br />

Gen.21:30 And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a<br />

witness unto me, that I have digged this well.<br />

kai eipen abraam oti taV epta amnadaV tautaV lhmyh par' emou ina wsin moi eiV marturion oti egw<br />

wruxa to frear touto<br />

Gen.21:31 Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they sware both of them.<br />

dia touto epwnomasen to onoma tou topou ekeinou frear orkismou oti ekei wmosan amfoteroi<br />

Gen.21:32 Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief<br />

captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.<br />

kai dieqento diaqhkhn en tw freati tou orkou anesth de abimelec kai ocozaq o numfagwgoV autou<br />

kai fikol o arcistrathgoV thV dunamewV autou kai epestreyan eiV thn ghn twn fulistiim<br />

Gen.21:33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD,<br />

the everlasting God.<br />

kai efuteusen abraam arouran epi tw freati tou orkou kai epekalesato ekei to onoma kuriou<br />

qeoV aiwnioV<br />

Gen.21:34 And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' land many days.<br />

parwkhsen de abraam en th gh twn fulistiim hmeraV pollaV<br />

Gen.22:1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him,<br />

Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.<br />

kai egeneto meta ta rhmata tauta o qeoV epeirazen ton abraam kai eipen proV auton abraam<br />

abraam o de eipen idou egw<br />

Gen.22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into<br />

the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains<br />

which I will tell thee of.<br />

kai eipen labe ton uion sou ton agaphton on hgaphsaV ton isaak kai poreuqhti eiV thn ghn thn<br />

uyhlhn kai anenegkon auton ekei eiV olokarpwsin ef' en twn orewn wn an soi eipw<br />

Gen.22:3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young<br />

men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up,<br />

and went unto the place of which God had told him.<br />
