2Sam.19:21 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for<br />

this, because he cursed the LORD's anointed?<br />

tou katabhnai eiV apanthn tou kuriou mou tou basilewV<br />

2Sam.19:22 And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be<br />

adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I<br />

know that I am this day king over Israel?<br />

kai apekriqh abessa uioV sarouiaV kai eipen mh anti toutou ou qanatwqhsetai semei oti<br />

kathrasato ton criston kuriou<br />

2Sam.19:23 Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him.<br />

kai eipen dauid ti emoi kai umin uioi sarouiaV oti ginesqe moi shmeron eiV epiboulon shmeron ou<br />

qanatwqhsetai tiV anhr ex israhl oti ouk oida ei shmeron basileuw egw epi ton israhl<br />

2Sam.19:24 And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed<br />

his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed<br />

until the day he came again in peace.<br />

kai eipen o basileuV proV semei ou mh apoqanhV kai wmosen autw o basileuV<br />

2Sam.19:25 And it came to pass, when he was come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said<br />

unto him, Wherefore wentest not thou with me, Mephibosheth?<br />

kai memfibosqe uioV iwnaqan uiou saoul katebh eiV apanthn tou basilewV kai ouk eqerapeusen<br />

touV podaV autou oude wnucisato oude epoihsen ton mustaka autou kai ta imatia autou ouk<br />

eplunen apo thV hmeraV hV aphlqen o basileuV ewV thV hmeraV hV autoV paregeneto en eirhnh<br />

2Sam.19:26 And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will<br />

saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant is lame.<br />

kai egeneto ote eishlqen eiV ierousalhm eiV apanthsin tou basilewV kai eipen autw o basileuV ti oti<br />

ouk eporeuqhV met' emou memfibosqe<br />

2Sam.19:27 And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an<br />

angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine eyes.<br />

kai eipen proV auton memfibosqe kurie mou basileu o douloV mou parelogisato me oti eipen o paiV<br />

sou autw episaxon moi thn onon kai epibw ep' authn kai poreusomai meta tou basilewV oti cwloV o<br />

douloV sou<br />

2Sam.19:28 For all of my father's house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set<br />

thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to<br />

cry any more unto the king?<br />

kai meqwdeusen en tw doulw sou proV ton kurion mou ton basilea kai o kurioV mou o basileuV wV<br />

aggeloV tou qeou kai poihson to agaqon en ofqalmoiV sou<br />

2Sam.19:29 And the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou<br />

and Ziba divide the land.<br />

oti ouk hn paV o oikoV tou patroV mou all' h oti andreV qanatou tw kuriw mou tw basilei kai eqhkaV<br />

ton doulon sou en toiV esqiousin thn trapezan sou kai ti estin moi eti dikaiwma kai tou<br />

kekragenai me eti proV ton basilea<br />

2Sam.19:30 And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king<br />

is come again in peace unto his own house.<br />

kai eipen autw o basileuV ina ti laleiV eti touV logouV sou eipon su kai siba dieleisqe ton agron<br />

2Sam.19:31 And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king,<br />

to conduct him over Jordan.<br />

mou ton basilea en eirhnh eiV ton oikon autou<br />
