shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.<br />

Ps.57:2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.<br />

Ps.57:3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me<br />

up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.<br />

Ps.57:4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of<br />

Ps.57:5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.<br />

Ps.57:6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit<br />

Ps.58:1 Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of<br />

Ps.58:2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.<br />

exelou me ek twn ecqrwn mou o qeoV kai ek twn epanistanomenwn ep' eme lutrwsai me<br />

Ps.58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born,<br />

speaking lies.<br />

Ps.58:4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her<br />

ear;<br />

Ps.58:5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.<br />

Ps.58:6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O<br />

LORD.<br />

Ps.58:7 Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his<br />

arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.<br />
