Amos.2:10 Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the<br />

wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.<br />

kai egw anhgagon umaV ek ghV aiguptou kai perihgagon umaV en th erhmw tessarakonta eth tou<br />

kataklhronomhsai thn ghn twn amorraiwn<br />

Amos.2:11 And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not<br />

even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.<br />

kai elabon ek twn uiwn umwn eiV profhtaV kai ek twn neaniskwn umwn eiV agiasmon mh ouk estin<br />

tauta uioi israhl legei kurioV<br />

Amos.2:12 But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy<br />

not.<br />

kai epotizete touV hgiasmenouV oinon kai toiV profhtaiV enetellesqe legonteV ou mh profhteushte<br />

Amos.2:13 Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.<br />

dia touto idou egw kuliw upokatw umwn on tropon kulietai h amaxa h gemousa kalamhV<br />

Amos.2:14 Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his<br />

force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:<br />

kai apoleitai fugh ek dromewV kai o krataioV ou mh krathsh thV iscuoV autou kai o machthV ou mh<br />

swsh thn yuchn autou<br />

Amos.2:15 Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver<br />

himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.<br />

kai o toxothV ou mh uposth kai o oxuV toiV posin autou ou mh diaswqh oude o ippeuV ou mh swsh<br />

thn yuchn autou<br />

Amos.2:16 And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the<br />

LORD.<br />

kai eurhsei thn kardian autou en dunasteiaiV o gumnoV diwxetai en ekeinh th hmera legei kurioV<br />

Amos.3:1 Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the<br />

whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,<br />

akousate ton logon touton on elalhsen kurioV ef' umaV oikoV israhl kai kata pashV fulhV hV<br />

anhgagon ek ghV aiguptou legwn<br />

Amos.3:2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your<br />

iniquities.<br />

plhn umaV egnwn ek paswn fulwn thV ghV dia touto ekdikhsw ef' umaV pasaV taV amartiaV umwn<br />

Amos.3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?<br />

ei poreusontai duo epi to auto kaqolou ean mh gnwriswsin eautouV<br />

Amos.3:4 Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he<br />

have taken nothing?<br />

ei ereuxetai lewn ek tou drumou autou qhran ouk ecwn ei dwsei skumnoV fwnhn autou ek thV<br />

mandraV autou kaqolou ean mh arpash ti<br />

Amos.3:5 Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare<br />

from the earth, and have taken nothing at all?<br />

ei peseitai orneon epi thn ghn aneu ixeutou ei scasqhsetai pagiV epi thV ghV aneu tou sullabein ti<br />

Amos.3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a<br />

city, and the LORD hath not done it?<br />

ei fwnhsei salpigx en polei kai laoV ou ptohqhsetai ei estai kakia en polei hn kurioV ouk<br />

epoihsen<br />

Amos.3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the<br />

prophets.<br />
