Colorado River Municipal Water District Raw Water Supply Well Sites Ward County North Well Field SECTION 40 90 01.01 INSTRUMENTATION - FLOW METERS PART 1 GENERAL 1.1 WORK INCLUDED A. Furnish labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to install all flow meter instrumentation equipment as shown in the specifications and on the drawings. Contractor's work shall include but not be limited to the installation of equipment furnished under this contract. B. The Contractor's attention is directed to the fact that flow meter instrumentation is an integrated system and as such shall be furnished by one vendor or system integrator who shall provide all the equipment and appurtenances, regardless of manufacture, and be responsible to the Contractor for satisfactory operation of the entire system. C. Supervision, labor, tools, and materials necessary for installation of the flow meter instrumentation equipment and material furnished herein and their interconnection shall be provided by the Contractor. Installation work shall conform to applicable city, state, and national building and electrical codes. D. Coordinate the work of the system manufacturer's service personnel during construction, testing, calibration and acceptance of the instruments. E. Provide equipment as shown in the specifications and on the drawings. 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE A. GENERAL: Equipment shall be the Manufacturer's latest and proven design. Specifications and drawings call attention to certain features, but do not purport to cover all details entering into the design of the instrumentation system. The completed system shall be compatible with the functions required and the equipment furnished by the Contractor. B. OPERATING VOLTAGE: Electrical components of the system shall operate on 120 volt, single-phase, 60 Hertz, except as otherwise noted in the specifications. C. POWER SUPPLIES: The drawings and specifications indicate the energy sources that will be provided. Any other devices or power supplies necessary to obtain proper operation of the instrument system from these energy sources shall be furnished with the instrumentation.
