SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS
These Supplementary Conditions amend or supplement the Standard General Conditions for Procurem ent
Contracts, EJCDC P-700 (2010 Edition). All provisions which are not so amended or supplemented remain
in full force and effect.
The terms used in these Supplem entary Conditions have the meanings stated in the General Conditions.
Additional terms used in these Supplem entary Conditions have the m eanings stated below, which are
applicable to both the singular and plural thereof.
The address system used in these Supplementary Conditions is the same as the address system used in the
General Conditions, with the prefix "SC" added thereto.
SC-1.01
Definitions
SC-1.01.A
Add the following new paragraph immediately after Paragraph 1.01.A.36:
37. Unit Price Goods and Special Services—Goods and Special Services to
be paid for on the basis of unit prices.

Add the following new paragraph immediately after Paragraph 4.02.E:
F. Seller shall purchase and m aintain such liability and other insurance as
is appropriate for the furnishing of Goods and Special Services and as
will provide protection from claims set forth below which may arise out
of or result from Seller’s furnishing of the Goods or Special Services
and Seller’s other obligations under the Contract Docum ents, whether
the furnishing of Goods and Special Services or other obligations are to
be performed by Seller, any subcont ractor or supplier, or by anyone
directly or indirectly em ployed by any of them to furnish the Goods
and Special Services, or by anyone for whose acts any of them may be
liable:
1. claims under workers’ com pensation, disability benefits, and other
similar employee benefit acts;
2. claims for damages because of bodily injury, occupational sickness
or disease, or death of Seller’s employees;
3. claims for damages because of bodily injury, sickness or disease, or
death of any person other than Seller’s employees;
4. claims for damages insured by reasonably available personal injury
liability coverage which are sustained: (i) by any person as a result
