Colorado River Municipal Water District Vertical Turbine Submersible Pumping Units Ward County North Well Field Examination of Water and Wastewater. Laboratory costs for performing the specified tests shall be that of the Contractor’s and included in the most applicable bid item. If any of the samples show the presence of coliform, the Contractor shall repeat the process or modify (as approved by Engineer) until testing indicates zero coliform. Repeat disinfecting and testing shall be completed at no additional cost to the Owner. F. The Contractor shall be responsible for the proper disposal of the contaminants and saturated chlorinated water. G. Disinfectant used for the wells shall be in liquid form. Solid tablets or powders will not be allowed. H. Cost for disinfecting the well, including alternate pumping equipment, shall be included in the bid item for same. I. Use the form following this specification section for submitting samples to approved laboratories. 3.3 Field Quality Control A. Manufacturer’s representative shall: 1. Approve installation before operation. 2. Test, operate, and adjust system in presence of Engineer and Owner’s personnel and provide installation certification. 3. Verify conformance with Contract Documents. 4. Instruct Owner’s personnel on care and maintenance. 5. Revisit jobsite as often as necessary during 30-day operational period to correct deficiencies to satisfaction of Engineer and Owner.
