In Table 2, there are 46% Taiwanese SME manufactures that are engaging in CSR<br />

now. If we plus the probability over 80% <strong>of</strong> intending to engage in CSR in the future<br />

3 years into 46%, then that would be half <strong>of</strong> SME manufactures doing CSR.<br />

However, more than 50% responses <strong>of</strong> SMEs that practice CSR activities but answer<br />

not doing CSR imply that many Taiwanese SMEs implement these CSR activities<br />

but don’t call them ‘CSR’ as the literature called ‘implicit CSR’. Recycling and<br />

reducing waste, active in energy saving and carbon reduction are the top two<br />

proportions <strong>of</strong> CSR activities <strong>of</strong> Taiwanese SMEs, which reveals that Taiwanese<br />

SMEs take much more account <strong>of</strong> these two topics than other CSR activities.
