verified by experiments [2]. Nevertheless, is the special<br />
relativity logically sound? The argumentations in this<br />
thesis show that the dynamic results arising from the<br />
relativistic time can't meet requirement of the law of<br />
conservation of momentum.<br />
2 Inconsistency with the Conservation of Momentum<br />
- Set up two inertial reference frames S and S'.<br />
The x-axis is coincident with the x'-axis, y-axis is parallel<br />
to y'-axis and z-axis parallel to z'-axis. The frame<br />
S' is moving at a velocity v relative to the frame S in the<br />
x direction. When the origin of frame S' passes the<br />
origin of frame S, the clocks at the two origins read<br />
zero. Suppose the space-time coordinates for an event<br />
in frame S are related to the corresponding coordinates<br />
for the same event in frame S' by Lorentz transformation.<br />

Concluding remarks<br />
It is nearly one century since A. Einstein established<br />
the special relativity. The relativity theory has made<br />
great influences on physics and philosophy. Nevertheless,<br />
the researches show the special relativity doesn't<br />
hold water. As argued in the foregoing, the dynamic<br />
results due to the relativistic time are inconsistent with<br />
the law of conservation of momentum. We wonder<br />
whether the problems are flaws or anything else so far<br />
as the special relativity is concerned. Although the<br />
relativity theory has achieved great triumphs and its<br />
concepts of space-time have been accepted universally,<br />
we can't thus affirm it is a perfect theory. If an incorrect<br />
theory has ruled our thought for a along time, what will<br />
have taken place to development of science?"<br />

on the primitive mathematical form of Lorentz transformation<br />
and the relative space-time view with subjective<br />
conjecture. The theory of relativity truly got up some<br />
certain positive roles to the modern physics development,<br />
but simultaneously produced the negative<br />
influence that was more serious. The ether is the lower<br />
form of physical existence, in universe all spaces are<br />
