Hafele, J. C. 1996
[SRT-Kritik]: [distanzierende Aussagen zum Hafele-
Keating-Experiment].
In: Kelly, A. G.: A new theory on the behavior of
light. The Institution of Engineers of Ireland, Monograph
N. 2. 1996. 26 S.; p. 8.
SRT. ATOMUHRENTRANSPORT. HAFELE-KEATING.
(1) "Most people (including myself) would be reluctant
to agree that the time gained by any one of these clocks
is indicative of anything."
(2) "The difference between theory and measurement
is disturbing."
Diese Aussagen des einen der beiden Experimentatoren
über das Ergebnis ihres eigenen Experiments sind
überhaupt erst durch Kellys Veröffentlichung 1996
bekanntgeworden und erst durch den italienischen
Internetbeitrag von U. Bartocci (L'esperimento di
Michelson-Morley ha dato davvero un risultato nullo?
- Did Michelson-Morley experiment really give a null
result?) allgemein zugänglich geworden:
http://www.cartesio-episteme.net/mich.html.
Der interne Bericht von 1971 sollte eigentlich nicht
publik werden, um den glänzenden Triumph der physikalischen
Wissenschaft nicht zu verdunkeln. Erst 1996
hat Kelly ihn zitatweise überhaupt publik gemacht in
einer kleinen Druckschrift, die nur schwer zu beschaffen
ist (kein Bibliotheksbesitz außerhalb Irlands nach-
zuweisen!). Deshalb hat Bartocci daraus die kritischen
Zitate um ca. 2000 in einem Internetartikel zugänglich
gemacht, allerdings in einer italienischsprachigen Darstellung.
- Hiermit reichen wir diese Zitate nun in
einer deutschsprachigen Darstellung mit immerhin
englischsprachiger Einführung nochmals im Internet
herum. So verschlungen sind gelegentlich die Wege der
Relativitätskritik in die Öffentlichkeit, weil das akademische
Milieu jegliche Kritik zu unterdrücken versucht,
ganz besonders die Kritik von solchen Nestbeschmutzern
wie Hafele.
MAXWELL. HEAVISIDE. THOMPSON. SRT.
S. 63: "Heaviside (1888, 1889) and Thomson (1889) first
correctly calculated the scalar and vector potentials of a
steadily moving point charge by transforming d'Alembert's
equation for the potential for a steadily moving
charge into Poisson's form for a static charge by elongating
a coordinate axis lying along the direction of the
charge translation. They thus developed a way to solve
dynamic problems like static problems, using an
auxiliary equation in the form of Poisson's potential
equation. The present authors use this ingenious mathematical
approach to derive from Maxwell's field equa-
