The movement of a conductor near a pole of a magnet
and the movement of that pole near the conductor
does not always give the same result. It has been claimed
that this contradicts relativity theory. Experiments
described in this book show that it is not special relativity
but another basic law of physics that is contradicted
- Faraday's Law. [...]
The book treats its subject properly, not just as an
impersonal set of equations, but rather as a developing
saga full of human triumph and failure. One learns
from both experimental results and simple logical argument
that all is not well with modern physics."
G. O. Mueller: SRT. Kap. 4-Erg.
174
SRT. AET. LORTF.
theories (CET)" durch "distinguishing between the
transformations for 'physical' and 'measured' space-time
four-vectors. [...] Here, the focus is on the most interesting
case: successive space-time transformations, giving,
in general, different predictions for special relativity
theory (SRT) and CET's" (S. 9).
ergeben sollte. Kommt zu dem Schluß, daß unter
Labor-Bedingungen nur der Mössbauer-Effekt ein klares
Ergebnis liefern kann (S. 13): "a value accessible
practically and conveniently only by the Mössbauer
effect, at least as far as a laboratory-scale experiment is
concerned. - Thus, an indirect measurement of the
[Omega](v) dependence in a Mössbauer experiment is
a real way to unambiguously check SRT. It can be accomplished
in Champeney-type experiments, using the most
recent methodological developments in Mössbauer
spectroscopy: the resonant method of registration of
recoilfree radiation [8,9], or nuclear resonant scattering
of synchrotron radiation [10]."
bekannten Mößbauer-Effekt nutzt. Ebenfalls interessant
Wahlkampf-Motto greifen lassen: Keine Experimente!
