der behauptet, daß "the validity of special relativity<br />
could be confirmed from the two 1930's tests [Kennedy-<br />
Thorndike and Ives-Stillwell] plus the Michelson-<br />
Morley experiment." - Phipps: "The article quotes J.<br />
Hall as claiming that his work cited by Pool "allows<br />
[special relativity] to be deduced entirely from experiment,"<br />
presumably without appeal to Einstein's theoretical<br />
postulates. The impression is thus created that the<br />
whole subject of kinematics is a closed chapter of physics<br />
wherein no intellectual challenges remain. Such is<br />
far from being the case."<br />
Einsteins SRT in ihrer Raum-Zeit-Konzeption von<br />
Minkowski (S. 151) "rests on two mathematical invariants,<br />
a timelike interval dt [t = gr. tau] and a spacelike<br />
interval ds [s = gr. sigma]. No deductive logical path<br />
connects these two, just as no logical path connects<br />
tachyons and tardyons. [...] ... all observations ... correspond<br />
to events on single-particle or single-photon<br />
worldlines, none to structured relationships among a<br />
plurality of worldlines. All empirical evidence thus ...<br />
supports dt invariance for on-worldline evens, none<br />
supports any of the structural or four-space "metric"<br />
assertions of the theory. The invariance of ds is confirmed<br />
by not one scrap of empirical evidence known to<br />
me."<br />
Da es bisher keine empirischen Bestätigungen für<br />
die Minkowski-Welt gebe, weil noch kein entsprechendes<br />
Experiment durchgeführt worden ist, könnt die Welt<br />
auch völlig anders strukturiert sein, und wir würden es<br />
gar nicht wissen.<br />
Da Phipps annimmt, daß seine Physikerkollegen<br />
seine Aussagen ablehnen werden, lädt er sie ein, wenigs-<br />
