SRT. AET. MMV. C. ZD. ABERR. BRADLEY. LODGE.
Stellt die Interpretation der Sternlicht-Aberration von
Oliver Lodge in seiner 1893 erschienenen Arbeit "Aberration
problems. A discussion concerning the motion
of the ether near the Earth, and concerning the connexion
between ether and gross matter; with some new
(Cedarholm/Townes); ferner Bradleys Sternlicht-Aberration.
Kommt zu dem Ergebnis (S.16): (1) Das
SRT-Gedankenexperiment zur Begründung von Zeitdilatation
und Relativität der Bewegung enthält einen
logischen Mangel. Das rechtfertigt neue Bemühungen
um Nachweise für absolute Bewegungen. - (2) "... the
physics community has in many other ways acknowledged
that SRT, as traditionally presented, has been
somewhat misleading. For example, Frank Wilczek of
the Institute for Advanced Studies in Princeton, has
cast Einstein's celebrated dismissal of the ether in a
new light. In the January 1999 issue of "Physics today",
Wilczek refers to the long discredited ether hypothesis.
He says that there is "a myth, repeated in many popular
presentations and textbooks, that Albert Einstein swept
it into the dustbin of history." [10] He argues that the
truth of the matter is more nearly the opposite - that
Einstein "first purified, and then enthroned, the ether
concept ... At present, renamed and thinly disguised, it
dominates the accepted laws of physics." Thus, in both
the experimental and theoretical arenas, mainstream
physics has already implicitly signaled a willingsness
to depart from strict adherence to traditional SRT."
SRT. IS. ZEIT.
Auszug. - "In Relativity, mistakenly, the time passes
slower for the observer who is in motion relative to a
reference frame, no matter if the observer is moving
closer of farther apart from the observer at rest.
CONCLUSION - Relations (1) and (2) do not tell
us how time flows for the moving observer, but only
for the fixed observer. (Understanding this optical illusion,
indicates we should be more careful in our assumptions.
For example, a star sends out light with a constant
frequency. Depending on the direction of movement,
we observe that when the star is moving away, the light
will suffer a displacement towards the red end of the
spectrum (the frequency of light is geting smaller).
When the star is geting closer, light will be displaced
towards the violet (the frequency of the light is growing).
According to this example, we can say that if the frequency
of the light that we took as a standard unit of time
varies with the direction of relative motion.
OBSERVATION - In the same way we can demonstrate
that in every relation where we use alpha, it must
be replaced with the general relation (2) and then we
can calculate how the measurements will be perceived
from the inertial system at rest. An exception to this
rule might be when trying to express the height. It is
possible that the height may vary with speed considering
the ether as an absolute fixed reference frame."
