"Conclusion - The Doppler effect allows determining<br />

the frequency of light in the case when the source of<br />

light moves or when the observer measuring the frequency<br />

moves. In special relativity, the Doppler change<br />

of the frequency is determined on the condition that the<br />

speed of light in the vacuum does not depend on the<br />

movement of the source.<br />

However no experiment proves that the speed of<br />

light does not depend on the movement of the source in<br />

an absolute vacuum. The observations of the binary<br />

stars and all experiments with the movement of the<br />

source of light prove that the speed of light does not<br />

depend on the movement of the source in a real gaseous<br />

medium. Before reradiation by the atoms of the medium,<br />

the photons move relative to the moving source at<br />

speed C and relative to an immovable observer, their<br />

speed is V + C. Therefore in the case when the source<br />

moves at speed V , the Doppler effect is determined,<br />

not by classic expression [Formel] or relativistic expression<br />

[Formel], but by the same expression [Formel]<br />

as in the case when the observer moves.<br />

Rejecting the condition that at the moment of emission<br />

the speed of light does not depend on the movement<br />

of the source and the use of the expression [Formel]<br />

allows a different explanation for all situations with the<br />

movement of the observer or the source of light. The<br />

conclusion is that the cosmological red shift cannot be<br />

considered proof of the recession of galaxies."<br />
