O.2. Nomination<br />

Process<br />

Members interested in serving on the BFAC are encouraged to submit an<br />

application per the following guidance. Nomination packages in memo<br />

format not to exceed two pages shall be submitted by the applicant via their<br />

Operational Commander and District/Area Boat Manager to Commandant<br />

(CG-731) or the current Joshua James Ancient Keeper. E-mail submissions<br />

must be in PDF format with required signature or scanned copies with all<br />

required signatures. Signatures will assume Command endorsement. The<br />

memo shall include:<br />

(01) Type of unit member will be representing.<br />

(02) Anticipated rotation date.<br />

(03) Brief summary of members career and duties performed.<br />

(04) Brief narrative on how the BFAC and <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> will benefit from<br />

the applicants membership.<br />

(05) Statement indicating the applicants ability to attend annual meeting<br />

and fulfill the responsibilities listed above and in the BFAC Charter.<br />
