Exercises<br />

Optional exercises may be conducted in conjunction with, but not<br />

simultaneous to, required exercises. Note that procedures for optional<br />

drills may not be specifically addressed in the operator’s handbooks or<br />

other references. In order to improve standardized procedures, please<br />

notify the National Motor Lifeboat School, Boat Forces and Cutter<br />

Operations Branch, or National Aids to Navigation School where<br />

omissions/deviations may exist.<br />

(01) Reduced visibility navigation.<br />
