Chapter 1 – Training and Qualification<br />

c) Processes for:<br />

(i) Successful completion of PQS/JQR tasks.<br />

(ii) Practical evaluation of trainees.<br />

(iii) Conduct of QEBs in accordance with prescribed procedures.<br />

(04) Internal routing procedures for PQS/JQR qualification records<br />

(including practical evaluations and Qualification Examining<br />

Board recommendations), exercise evaluation [e.g. Ready for<br />

Operations (RFO) self-audit] sheets, and departmental and duty<br />

section training records.<br />

(05) Indoctrination Program responsibilities, policies and procedures.<br />

(06) List of personnel with AOPS / TMT access level.<br />

C.2. Training<br />

Board<br />

All units shall establish a Training Board. Minimum membership shall<br />

include the following:<br />

(01) XO/XPO<br />

(02) EO/EPO<br />

(03) ANT supervisor (if assigned)<br />

(04) Training Officer/Training Petty Officer (if assigned), and the<br />

(05) Senior Coxswain/Surfman trainer.<br />

NOTE Members of the parent unit’s Command Cadre should serve as members of Station<br />

(small) Training Boards.<br />

C.3. Unit<br />

Training Plan<br />

The Unit Training Plan Form CG-5293 (or locally produced form) is the<br />

founda tion of the unit training program and is prepared by the Training<br />

Board.<br />
