Section G. Duty Section Rotation<br />

Introduction<br />

The CO’s/OIC’s choice of Station watch/duty section rotation is a critical<br />

decsion. The Station’s duty rotation will:<br />

(01) Define the minimum requirement<br />

in the unit’s AOR.<br />

for <strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong> boat response<br />

(02) Be the primary workweek driver for the Station.<br />

(03) Define the amount and nature of the time available for Station<br />

training/work/ mission requirements.<br />

This Section provides sample duty section rotations from which the<br />

CO/OIC may select for their Station, along with advantages and<br />

disadvantages of each. See Table 3-1 through Table 3-6.<br />
