a) Establishing guidelines for implementing boat crew training.<br />

b) Recommending documentation for maintaining the system<br />

records (i.e., AOPS/TMT).<br />

(09) Serve as Headquarters Planning Coordinator for Boat<br />

Standardization Team staffs.<br />

(10) Monitor boat training programs offered by the Boat Forces and<br />

Cutter Operations Branch, National Motor Lifeboat School, and<br />

Special Missions Training Center.<br />

B.2. FC-T<br />

Responsibilities<br />

B.2.a. Training<br />

Manager<br />

The following FORCECOM (FC-T) responsibilities are provided for a<br />

training manager and course manager.<br />

Training and Educational Branch FORCECOM (FC-T), as the <strong>Coast</strong><br />

<strong>Guard</strong>’s training manager, shall:<br />

(01) Act as final approving authority for new resident training and<br />

general military training requirements.<br />

(02) Provide training policies and processes needed to manage unit<br />

training.<br />

(03) Establish and monitor measures of effectiveness and efficiency of<br />

training.<br />

(04) Manage AFC-56 budget and training quota control systems in<br />

support of unit training.<br />

(05) Provide training consultation services for course managers when<br />

requested.<br />

(06) Assist course managers in determining equivalencies between<br />

resident training courses and training received from other sources<br />

including exportable training and commercial and government<br />

schools.<br />

(07) Coordinate unit training needed as a result of major acquisitions<br />

(provide appropriate databases).<br />
