Coxswain<br />

In addition to the Coxswain tasks in section B.3.c., an ATON Coxswain<br />

should be familiar with the following topics:<br />

(01) ATON positioning systems and definitions.<br />

(02) ATON administration.<br />

(05)<br />

Locating ATON wreckage.<br />

Servicing floating aids.<br />

Servicing fixed aids.<br />

B.3.j. Tactical<br />

Coxswain<br />

The Tactical Coxswain should be familiar with the following topics<br />

regarding mission sortie planning for PWCS missions:<br />

(01) Knowledge of weapons deployment procedures within the steps<br />

of force for stopping non-compliant vessels.<br />

(02) Knowledge of geographic mission limitations such as field of<br />

fire.<br />

(03) Commandant, District, and Sector policy regarding PWCS<br />

missions.<br />

B.3.k. Pursuit<br />

Coxswain<br />

The Pursuit Coxswain should also be familiar with the following topics:<br />

(01) Commandant, District, and Sector policy regarding counter drug<br />

and alien immigration interdiction.<br />

(02) Knowledge of weapons deployment procedures within the steps<br />

of force for stopping non-compliant vessels.<br />

(03) Local inter-agency agreements (MOU).<br />

(04) Mission sortie planning for CD-AMIO missions.<br />
