STAN Teams will conduct mission/activity evaluations based on unit<br />

classification published at:<br />

http://cgweb.comdt.uscg.mil/G-RCB/unitclass.htm.<br />

These units must have a ready boat capable of completing these missions<br />

or activities. These evaluations will coincide with the regularly scheduled<br />

STAN visits.<br />

Mission/activity based assessments will be documented as an enclosure<br />

to the unit assessment report.<br />

Scoring<br />

The mission/activity based scoring criteria will be comprised of the<br />

mission based check sheets published on the applicable STAN intranet<br />

site for each platform, knowledge based written test, and mission based<br />

underway drills which are posted on the STAN team website. The<br />

remainder of each STAN visit will be assessed for score per current<br />

STAN guidelines including: electronic training system/training record<br />

review, knowledge based written testing, materiel inspection, full power<br />

trial, personal protective equipment program review and underway drill<br />

sets. The following is a breakdown of the scoring criteria for the mission<br />

activity based assessment:<br />

90-100% = 5<br />

80-89% = 4<br />

70-79% = 3<br />

60-69% = 1<br />

< 60% = 0<br />

MISSION/ACTIVITY BASED UNDERWAY DRILLS=TOTAL 10<br />

96-100% = 10 PTS<br />

91-95% = 9<br />

86-90% = 8<br />

81-85% = 6<br />

76-80% = 3<br />

71-75% = 2<br />
