(Small)<br />

Stations (small) are organized and located to meet limited mission<br />

requirements that may be seasonal or intermittent in demand. These<br />

Stations (small) are excellent opportunities for reserve and auxiliary<br />

participation and training while meeting operational requirements of the<br />

<strong>Coast</strong> <strong>Guard</strong>. Special considerations for their management are discussed<br />

in this Section.<br />

Stations (small) are limited, resource-constrained units that are designed<br />

to meet limited threats and mission requirements. Parent CO/OIC and<br />

Operational Commanders should structure tasking and support of these<br />

Stations accordingly. Experience has shown that inattention to this can<br />

rapidly lead to over-tasking.<br />
