I.1.b. Training<br />

and Qualification<br />

To be fully qualified, team members must have served in a COMDT<br />

MAB as Board President and have gained skills via dedicated training or<br />

OJT while acting as a board technical advisor or observer.<br />

Team members shall possess skills and experience in these areas:<br />

(01) Commandant (CG-1134) mishap investigation procedures,<br />

including execution of pre-mishap plan, notifications, securing<br />

the scene, medical screening, handling of privileged information,<br />

confidentiality, willfull acts/crimes, etc.<br />

(02) Team member roles and responsibilities (MAB President, Board<br />

Members, Medical Officer, Technical Advisors, Observers, and<br />

Ad Hoc members).<br />

(03) Interplay with ongoing Administrative Investigations.<br />

(04) Interplay with other government agencies and non-government<br />

agencies.<br />

(05) Role of regulations and consensus standards.<br />

(06) Conducting casualty interviews.<br />

(07) Accident reconstruction.<br />

(08) Electronics system data recovery procedures.<br />

(09) Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS)<br />

awareness and understanding.<br />

(10) Human Performance Technology.<br />

(11) CG E-MISHAP system operations.<br />
