ÖZET
Bu araştırmada yaş ortalamaları 22.09±2.70 yıl olan 11 erkek cimnastikçiyle, yaş
ortalamaları 21.36±2.11 yıl olan spor yapmayan 11 erkeğin boy uzunlukları, vücut ağırlıkları,
görsel ve işitsel reaksiyon zamanları karşılaştırıldı.
Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, cimnastikçilerin boy uzunlukları ve vücut ağırlıkları
kontrol grubundaki erkeklerden daha düşük olarak tespit edilmiştir ve yapılan istatistiksel
analizler sonucunda da boy uzunluğunda (p0.05). Cimnastikçilerin görsel ve işitsel
reaksiyon zamanları kontrol grubundaki genç erkeklerden daha kısa bulunurken, görsel
reaksiyon test sonuçlarında istatistiksel farkın bulunduğu (p0.05) tespit edilmiştir.

EVALUATION OF THE REACTION TIMES OF THE MALE ATHLETES IN
SUMMARY
TURKISH NATIONAL ARTISTIC GYMNASTIC TEAM
In this study, the height, weight and visual and audial reaction times of 11 male
gymnasts at an average age of 22.90±2.70 years and 11 males that do not do sports at an
average age of 21.36±2.11 were compared.
According to the results, the height and the weight of the gymnasts were found to be
lower than those of the control group and as a result of a statistical analysis, while statistical
difference (p0.05) was
observed in the weight. It was found that the visual and audial reaction time of the gymnasts
was shorter than that of the other young males in the control group. It was also observed that
there exists a statistical difference (p0.05) between the audial reaction test results.
