Any future potential development in the area around the Project site will<br />

require a variety of permits, including an EIA approval. By building good<br />

relationships with the local authorities through an ongoing engagement<br />

process, <strong>Azura</strong> <strong>Power</strong> will be in a position to influence the nature of future<br />

developments, and to lobby against those that are inappropriate or not<br />

compatible with the <strong>Azura</strong>-<strong>Edo</strong> IPP and the neighbouring NIPP power plant.<br />

This approach will also mitigate against the possibility of future constraints on<br />

the plant’s operations.
