General Manager<br />

Responsibility<br />

Oversee and coordinate all activities pertaining to the<br />

Project; ultimately responsible for EHS. Ensure<br />

delivery by the Project of its EHS and operational<br />

targets. Ensure effective communication with all<br />

stakeholders.<br />

Operations Manager<br />

Technical aspects of the Project including<br />

subcontractor supervision during operations.<br />

Responsible for the execution of Emergency Response<br />

Plan.<br />

Construction Manager<br />

Technical aspects of the Project including<br />

subcontractor supervision during construction.<br />

EHS Coordinator<br />

Ensuring that the Project and subcontractors operate in<br />

accordance with the applicable regulatory<br />

environment, health and safety requirements and<br />

plans.<br />

Monitor implementation of environmental and social<br />

protection measures, and assist with technical input<br />

into spill response requirements.<br />

Community Liaison Officer<br />

(CLO)<br />

Liaise with local communities and government<br />

regulators on the Project’s behalf. Implement EHS<br />

awareness and education programmes with<br />

communities.<br />

Subcontractor<br />

Project Manager<br />

Responsible for subcontractor technical performance<br />

and compliance.<br />

EHS Manager<br />

Ensure that environment, health and safety regulatory<br />

requirements are met and that ESMP requirements are<br />

properly implemented.<br />

Supervision of subcontractor activities will be conducted by the <strong>Azura</strong> <strong>Power</strong><br />

General Manager and the Operations Manager. This will be accomplished<br />

through management controls over strategic project aspects and interaction<br />

with subcontractor staff where project activities take place. The <strong>Azura</strong> <strong>Power</strong><br />

organisation will be staffed at a level to allow for continuous effective<br />

supervision of subcontractor activities and work products.<br />

The Construction Manager and EHS Coordinator will be placed locally at the<br />

Project site to supervise subcontractors during construction while the<br />

Operations Manager and EHS Coordinator will supervise subcontractors<br />

during operational activities. The organisation includes a CLO whose role is<br />

crucial to the successful implementation of the ESMP and the continuation of<br />

liaison with the local community.<br />
