2.03 COMPONENTS
A. Aluminum-Framed Storefront: Factory fabricated, factory finished aluminum framing members with
infill, and related flashings, anchorage and attachment devices. Verify sizes with drawings.
1. Finish: Class I color as noted on drawings. Conforming to Aluminum Association
Standards
AA-M12C22A31. (Refer to Drawing for Color)
2. Tubular aluminum sections, thermally broken with interior section insulated from exterior,
drainage holes and internal weep drainage system.
3. Glass 1” insulated.
4. Glazing stop flush.
B. Aluminum Framed Storefront Spandrel:
1. Framing members for spandrel single pane applications to be Kawneer TriFab 450 400 VG (2”
x 2-1/2” veneer).
2. Glass: Single Pane Spandrel.
3. Glazing stops: Flush.
C. Doors: Glazed aluminum; medium stile.
1. Thickness: 1-3/4 inches.
2. Top Rail: 4 3-1/2 inches wide.
3. Vertical Stiles: 4-1/2 3-1/2 inches wide.
4. Bottom Rail: 10 inches wide, complying with ANSI Requirements.
5. Glass: 1” insulated.
6. Glazing Stops: Square.
7. Finish: Same as storefront.
D. High Wind Storefront System:
1. Aluminum-Framed Storefront: Factory fabricated, factory finished aluminum framing
members with infill, and related flashings, anchorage and attachment devices. Verify sizes
with drawings.

3. Doors: Glazed aluminum; medium stile.
