In Order to this, he fent the Boatfwain and i o Men
on Shore the very fame Night, very well arm'd, dire-
fting them to go to the Houfe of Mr. Honnyman of
Grahamfey, Sheriff of the County, and v/ho was hini •
felf at that Time, to his good Fortune from Home:
The People of the Houfe had not the leaft Notice of
their coming, fo that when they knock'd at ths Door,
it was immediately open'd, upon which they all enter'd
the Houfe at once, except one Paiiton, Vi'ho they fcr
Centinel, and order'd him to ftand at the Door to fe-
cure their Retreat, and to fecure any from coming in
after them.
Mrs. Honnyman and her Daughter were extreamly
frighted at the Sight of fo many arm'd Men coming
into the Houfe, and ran fcreaming about like People
diftrafled, while the Pyrates, not regarding them, were
looking about for Chefts and Trunks, where they might
expeft to find fome Plunder -. And Mrs. Emnyman in
her bright, coming to the Door, afe'd Panton, the
Man who they fet Centinel there, what the Meaning
of it all was ? and he told her freely, they were Py-
