Another Time being of a Sunday, I went over as<br />

nfual, and miffing the Money in the Drawers, (my Bro-<br />

ther being in the Kitchen) and there being a Prefs Bed<br />

in the Shop wherein he ufcd to lie, I took his Breeches<br />

from off the Teafter of the Bed, and took from thence<br />

a Purfe, wherein was about tA'enty-iive Guineas, and<br />

in one of the Pockets about ten Penny worth of Half-<br />

]3cnce, which I put into the Purfe, and carr)'d it direil-<br />

ly to Addifin'i, and told him what I had done ; while<br />

he was (having me in the Shop I faw my Brother pafs<br />

by, and knovving myfelf guilty, I went up into Jddi-<br />

fon's, Room, and ftaid there till I heard by him he was<br />

gone paft, and then I went to W K'S Houfe, and<br />

fat drinking there the befl Part of that Night.<br />

The next Day myfelf and Jddifon went into the<br />

Country and ftaid till about two o'Clock the next Morn-<br />

ing before we came Home, where my Brother and a-<br />

nother waited for me, and brought me over the Water,<br />

cJiarging me with robbing him, which I ftifly deny'd ;<br />

and having an Opportunity I ty'd fome of the Money<br />

which 1 had left in the Tail of my Shirt, and put about<br />

five Guineas in my Shoes, which upon fcarching me<br />

they found ; but not pulling off ray Breeches tliey did<br />

not find the Remainder ; after threat'ning me they left<br />

me in the lioufe, and I got away and went to my Com-<br />

to drinking, but I was inform'd by TV- ?;, that my<br />

Brother had been there to mak.e an Enquiry how I<br />
