Court of Direftow for Tranfportation. I pleaded
Guilty to both the Indiftments. I acknowledge my
Crime, and I humbly beg Pardon of that Honoura-
ble Court for the great Offence I have given, hear-
tily praying for the Profperity of the Bank of Eng-
land, and that no Perfon m;iy ever attempt to defraud
them again in the like manner as I did, or other-
wife. And I hope all Perfons in Places of Truft will
' take Warning by my fad Calamity, and not by dif-
regarding God's Holy Commandments, give them-
lelves the Liberty of breaking thofe Trufts, if any
Opportunity oifers to them. Sir, I heartily fo.'give
' all Perfons who have any ways injur'd me, and I
' beg Pardon of all I have any ways offended, and I
' die in perfeft Charity with all Perfons whatfoever.

WILLIAM MAYNEE..
Mr. 'Maynee was a Man well educated, and knowing
in Religious Principles, and other Things, but he fo
much addifted to the Love of Women, that he run
into great Debts and inextricable Difficulties, which oc-
cafion'd his taking thofe unlawful and criminal Expedi-
ents, which prov'd his Ruin. Another worthy Divine
who came to vifit and pray for him, often and earneft-
ly ui'g'd him to a Reftitution of ftolen Goods, which
he offer'd to make, upon Condition he might be al-
low'd to tranfport himfelf to Jamaica. When all
Hopes of this kind vanifh'd, and the Dead Warrant
came down to Ne-jvgate againft liim, I ftill infifted as
I had done formerly, upon Reftitution as a neceilary
Ingredient of Repentance ; he faid, he had made an
Iincondition'd Offer of Reftitution, and fliovi^'d a Lift of
