Vliv biotických a abiotických stresorů na vlastnosti rostlin
11.5.2005
500 μM byl obsah GSSG výrazně vyšší než u nižších aplikovaných dávek kadmia. Tento výrazný
nárůst obsahu GSSG pravděpodobně souvisí se vznikem kyslíkových radikálů.
Summary
High performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection as a tool for
studying of plants thiol compounds
Key words: glutathione – phytochelatins – cadmium – high performance liquid
chromatography – electrochemical detection
We used the high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection for the
determination of thiol compounds in maize plants treated by different concentrations of
cadmium (0, 50, 100, 150, 200, 400 and 500 μM) for six days. Influence of cadmium on
maize plants was characterized by marked growth depression and by changes of leaves
(necrosis). It clearly follows from the obtained HPLC-ED results that amounts of glutathione
(reduced and oxidized) and phytochelatins increase with increasing applied cadmium
concentration and cultivation time. In addition the GSH : GSSG ratio change with increasing
time of cultivation.
