Summary
The obtained results confirmed significant influence of the drought conditions on the root
traits. After begin of the influence of drought conditions.i.e at time of stem elongation- higher
deep of penetration of the roots and increase of branching was observed. It is possible also to
conclude, that drought stress conditions has influence on the dry matter of the roots an volume
of the roots.At the cultivars with decrease of the grain yield - large decrease of dry matter,
volume and intensity of branching of the root system exists.
