42 % at cv. ‘Désirée’ and 40 % at cv. ‘Judika’ and ‘Filea’ and a significant difference was not
found among the cultivars. Resulting plant regeneration after cryopreservation was affected
by loading of shoot tips by 0,7 M sucrose, shoot tips freezing into liquid nitrogen and their
thawing from liguid nitrogen. None of these above-mentioned factors had decisive effect on
the plant regeneration after cryopreservation of the potato cultivars and the final regeneration
rate was always a result of influence of a few factors.
