SIMOCODE operator panel<br />

If the EMERGENCY STOP has been activated,<br />

the 3TK28 must be acknowledged. The contacts<br />

K1, K2 and K4 are closed.<br />

Contactor K1 responds and there is voltage<br />

on contact 24 of the 3TK28.<br />

Output OUT1 switches voltage to contactor<br />

K2, and the outputs OUT2 and OUT3 switch<br />

voltage to the contactors K4 and K3 as per<br />

star-delta switching.The contactors respond<br />

accordingly.<br />

4 Press the EMERGENCY STOP pushbutton. Contactors K1, K2 and K4 release, activation<br />

of the EMERGENCY STOP is signaled to<br />

SIMOCODE via contact 24 of the 3TK28.<br />

SIMOCODE switches outputs OUT1 and<br />

OUT2 to 0.<br />

5 Release the EMERGENCY STOP pushbutton.<br />

Contacts K1, K2 and K4 are closed<br />

6 Press the Acknowledge EMERGENCY STOP<br />

button.<br />

Contactor K1 responds and there is voltage<br />

on contact 24 of the 3TK28.<br />

3TK28 is acknowledged and the load<br />

can be started via SIMOCODE<br />

The motor runs<br />

The load is stopped safely<br />

SIMOCODE has activated the<br />

EMERGENCY STOP, no fault is signaled.<br />

3TK28 is acknowledged and the load<br />

can be started via SIMOCODE
