Important hardware component settings<br />

Below, several important settings from the hardware configuration<br />

of STEP 7 are shown to provide you with an overview.<br />

These settings are available in the included STEP 7 project. It<br />

is basically possible to change these settings (e.g. due to individual<br />

requirements), but please consider the following note:<br />

The settings shown below contribute to meet the requirements<br />

of category 3 according to EN 954-1 and<br />

SIL 2 of IEC 62061. Changes at the settings may cause<br />

loss of the safety function.<br />

If you implement changes (e.g. add an additional module),<br />

the sample code has to be adapted accordingly.
