The time to be parameterized at the parameter PT<br />

depends on the application and can be changed.<br />

Generally, however, it should be as small as possible.<br />

For times larger than 1 sec additional safety measures<br />

should be considered.<br />

For a set #ERR_SW_TIME bit, the bits 0, 1 and 2 of the cyclic<br />

output data (determine which detection zone is active) are<br />

then reset. At the LS4-4, in return, this bit combination causes<br />

the OSSD bit to be reset. In this example, resetting the OSSD<br />

bit causes the indicator light to be switched off (see FB 3 NW<br />

1 and 2).<br />
