SINAMICS Runtime System<br />

Parametization of the SINAMICS drive system<br />

The drive system is commissioned via the STARTER commissioning<br />

tool. The parameterization procedure is described in<br />

the following.<br />

It is assumed that the motion application of the axis is functional.<br />

The safety-related Motion Control functions are not explained<br />

in this document.<br />

The sample application included uses the example of a motor<br />

encoder for a demonstration case to illustrate the configuration<br />

procedure.<br />

The axis to be monitored has to be created as a positioning<br />

axis!<br />

1. Program example<br />

The program example supplied describes how to configure an<br />

axis (Servo_3...Achse_Blau).<br />

The modifications described have to be integrated into the existing<br />

project.<br />

The Safe standstill function has to be started up and checked<br />

as described in the "SINAMICS S120<br />

Commissioning Manual", Chapt. 5.2 Safe standstill (SH).<br />

4. SINAMICS <strong>Safety</strong> <strong>Integrated</strong><br />

The message "Safe standstill active" has to be connected to<br />

the digital SIMOTION/SINAMICS output.<br />

This output must be connected to the digital input of the Simatic<br />

I/O.<br />

5. SINAMICS <strong>Safety</strong> integrated<br />

Redundant coarse position sensing is activated as follows:<br />

P430.0 = E0080000H<br />

with <strong>Safety</strong> actual position value acquisition = yes<br />
