12 Flowchart<br />

The flowchart below illustrates the functional relations.<br />

"Check of plausibility OK?" in the flowchart involves:<br />

■ checking whether the actual speed value does not exceed<br />

a fixed speed value N_MAX.<br />

■ checking whether the actual speed value determined with<br />

PROFIBUS and the actual speed value determined with the<br />

ET 200S count module are equal.<br />

If both points can be answered with "YES", then the plausibility<br />

check is "OK". For "NO" and "safe speed" mode, the drive is<br />

switched off safely.<br />

Time sequence for different modes<br />

The following time diagrams show the time sequence during:<br />

■ Operational start and shutdown of the drive<br />

■ Emergency stop<br />

■ Operating mode "safe speed" (SG)<br />
