Ingersoll, Michael Wayne was born September 14, 1969 in Savanna, Illinois and was<br />
the son <strong>of</strong> Jerry and Patsy (Noble) Ingersoll. He died as a result <strong>of</strong> a train-car accident<br />
in Savanna on November 14, 1985 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Invergo, Kenneth, was born April 4, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Benjamin “Ben” and Domenica Mae (LaBarbera) Invergo. He married Josephine “Jo”<br />
Amedeo on June 4, 1960 and four children were born to this union: Kenneth Invergo<br />
Jr., Keith Invergo, Kari Invergo, and Kathy (Invergo) Hansen. Kenneth worked as a<br />
manager at Clipper Express Trucking Company in Chicago for many years, retiring in<br />
1986. He also owned and operated Invergo Quail Farm in rural <strong>Hanover</strong>. Kenneth died<br />
February 27, 2001 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Irwin, Donald “Roy” was born February 21, 1896 in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Thomas Drury and Mary (Barnes) Irwin. He married Beulah Gertrude Grady on June<br />
30, 1931 and two children were born to this union: Ralph Dale Irwin and Gail Marie<br />
(Irwin) Robinson. Roy lived in Independence, Iowa for a number <strong>of</strong> years. Buelah died<br />
in 1943 in <strong>Hanover</strong>. Donald died July 31, 1981 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Irwin, Ralph G. was born September 3, 1903 in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Thomas Drury and Mary (Barnes) Irwin. Ralph was married to Mildred J. Hartzell. He<br />
lived in Wyoming for a time and later in rural Mount Vernon, Iowa for many years.<br />
Ralph died December 9, 1992 in Indianola, Iowa and is buried in Log Church Cemetery.<br />
Jackson, Catherine “Kate” Matilda (Hahn) was born October 18, 1922 in Iowa City,<br />
Iowa and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Charles and Anna Elizabeth (Kling) Hahn. She married<br />
Maurice Burnell Jackson on August 16, 1942 in Cahokia, Missouri and four children<br />
were born to this union: Janet Ann (Jackson) Groharing, Sharon Lynn Jackson (1945-<br />
1946), Michael Burnell Jackson, and Judy Kay (Jackson) Foht. The family moved to<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> in the 1940’s and Kate worked for the U.S. Post Office for 17 years before her<br />
death. Kate died in Maple Park, Illinois on July 24, 1983 and is buried in Adams<br />
Cemetery, Argyle, Wisconsin.<br />
Jackson, William Vernon was born August 16, 1913 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Amos Francis and Bridget Eliza “Bessie” (Whalen) Jackson. He was a farmer in the<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> area for many years, and later moved to Savanna. William died November 27,<br />
1991 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Jagielski, Evelyn Cecilia (Walsh) was born April 9, 1905 in Battle Creek, Michigan<br />
and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Dennis D. and Cecilia A. (Bresnahan) Walsh. She was married<br />
to Robert Jagielski and they raised three children: Joan Janet (Jagielski) Hunt, Robert<br />
“Bob” Francis Jagielski, and Mary Ann (Jagielski) Unangst. Evelyn lived in <strong>Hanover</strong><br />
for many years and was employed at the Savanna Army Depot and Burgess Battery.<br />
Evelyn died December 14, 1989 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Jagielski, Robert “Bob” Francis was born March 30, 1932 and was the son <strong>of</strong> Robert<br />
and Evelyn Cecilia (Walsh) Jagielski. He graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in<br />
1951. Bob was a Korean War U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a State Police Officer and<br />
lived in Paramount, California for a number <strong>of</strong> years. Bob died July 26, 1996 in Hot<br />
Springs, South Dakota. He is buried in Black Hill National Cemetery with a memorial<br />
stone in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Jeffers, George Newton was born May 14, 1880 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong> George<br />
and Louisa Wyk<strong>of</strong>f (Rowan) Jeffers. He graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1897<br />
and later from the University <strong>of</strong> Iowa. He received his medical degree from<br />
