Pratt, Frederick “Fred” Hayes was born April 18, 1921 in Eugene, Oregon and was<br />
the son <strong>of</strong> Frederick William and Mary Elizabeth (Hayes) Pratt. He graduated from<br />
Beloit, Wisconsin High School in 1939 and later graduated from the University <strong>of</strong><br />
Illinois, received his Masters Degree from the University <strong>of</strong> Wisconsin, and his PhD<br />
from Arizona State University. He coached basketball and track, and taught history and<br />
drivers education in Elizabeth and Freeport, Illinois. He later moved to Scottsdale,<br />
Arizona where he was a school administrator. Frederick was a park ranger for ten years<br />
at the Grand Teton National Park. He was a World War <strong>II</strong> U.S. Navy veteran.<br />
Frederick married Edith Elizabeth Moore who was a 1938 graduate from <strong>Hanover</strong> High<br />
School. Frederick died April 23, 2004 in Scottsdale; he was cremated and his ashes are<br />
buried in Log Church Cemetery.<br />
Pratt, Richard Bonapart was born March 11, 1913 in Monticello, Kentucky and was<br />
the son <strong>of</strong> John Henry and Sally F. (Spradlin) Pratt. He married Dora Irene Francke on<br />
March 14, 1941 in Palmyra, Missouri and two sons were born to this union: Richard<br />
William Pratt Jr. and Ronald Francke Pratt. Richard was a World War <strong>II</strong> U.S. Army<br />
veteran and farmed in the <strong>Hanover</strong> area for many years. Richard died June 24, 1991 and<br />
is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Prenot, Myrna E. was born February 26, 1923. He was married to Jane M. Prenot and<br />
they lived in Rockford, Illinois. Myrna was buried in Log Church Cemetery on October<br />
14, 2003.<br />
Prohovnik, Anthony “Tony” J. was born April 6, 1913 and was the son <strong>of</strong> Joseph and<br />
Rose Prohovnik. He grew up in Streator, Illinois. Tony was a World War <strong>II</strong> U.S. Army<br />
Veteran. He married Cleopatra “Cleo” Z. Magenheimer on June 29, 1946 in Galena.<br />
They lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> after their marriage and they both worked at the Savanna Army<br />
Depot. In the early 1960s they moved to Hemet, California. Tony died December 1,<br />
2005 and is buried in Hemet.<br />
Prohovnik, Cleopatra “Cleo” Z. (Magenheimer) was born June 3, 1918 in Galena,<br />
Illinois and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Albert V. and Elizabeth M. (Lauritzen) Magenheimer.<br />
Cleo graduated from Galena High School. She married Anthony “Tony” J. Prohovnik<br />
on June 29, 1946 in Galena. They lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> after their marriage and they both<br />
worked at the Savanna Army Depot. In the early 1960s they moved to Hemet,<br />
California. Cleo died July 20, 2001 and is buried in Hemet.<br />
Pulfrey, Nina Coral (Winter) was born June 14, 1889 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the daughter<br />
<strong>of</strong> George William and Emily Lou (Weingartner) Winter. Nina married Robert Earl<br />
Pulfrey in South Dakota and six known children were born to this union: Nina L.<br />
Pulfrey, Robert E. Pulfrey, Mildred G. Pulfrey, John W. Pulfrey, Genevieve P. Pulfrey,<br />
and one other daughter. The family lived in Amherst, South Dakota for a number <strong>of</strong><br />
years. Earl died August 10, 1942 in Brown County, South Dakota and Nina died<br />
October 3, 1981.<br />
Pulley, Robert B. was born September 1, 1943. He and his wife Carol had one<br />
daughter, Rhoda Wallace. Robert lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for a few years before moving to<br />
Smyrna, Georgia. He was a regional personnel manager for Panasonic Corporation.<br />
Robert died December 27, 1991 in Smyrna and is buried in Arlington Memorial Park<br />
Cemetery, Atlanta.<br />
Quade, Nona Maxine (Phialmlee) was born November 3, 1923 in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> and<br />
was the daughter <strong>of</strong> James Samuel and Mary Jane (Atkins) Phialmlee. She lived in
