Thill, Donald “Don” Edward was born February 20, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin<br />
and was the son <strong>of</strong> Hilbert “Hib” Eugene and Dorothea “Dorothy” Ruth (Lombard)<br />
Thill. He graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1947 and served with the U.S. Navy<br />
during the Korean Conflict. He married Anna Elizabeth (Drivick) Weldon in 1957 in<br />
Philadelphia and this union gave him two stepchildren: Michael Weldon and Linda<br />
Mary Weldon, and two children were born to this union: Donald Edward Thill and<br />
Diane Elizabeth Thill. Don was employed by Greenlee Tool Company, Rexham<br />
Corporation and other tool and die companies in the Rockford area before he retired in<br />
1995. His wife Anna died March 9, 1992. Don died on October 14, 2005 in Rockford<br />
and he was cremated.<br />
Thill, Dorothea “Dorothy” Ruth (Lombard) was born July 12, 1909 in Milwaukee,<br />
Wisconsin and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Edward August and Bertha Augusta (Boettcher)<br />
Lombard. She married Hilbert “Hib” Eugene Thill on March 9, 1928 and five children<br />
were born to this union: Donald Edward Thill, Robert Peter Thill, Kay Marleen (Thill)<br />
Pink, Hilbert Eugene Thill Jr., and Thomas Dale Thill. Dorothy worked at the Galena<br />
Glove Factory, <strong>Hanover</strong> Woolen Mill, and Mitchell’s Ben Franklin Store in <strong>Hanover</strong>.<br />
Dorothy moved to Baraboo, Wisconsin in 1979 to be near her children. Dorothy died in<br />
Baraboo on May 28, 2010 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Thill, Mae Bell (Harding) Kelley was born July 4, 1905. Mae married Andrew<br />
Thomas Kelley on December 18, 1920 and two children were born to this union, both <strong>of</strong><br />
whom died in infancy. Andrew died March 28, 1938 and she married Alphonse Peter<br />
Thill on May 24, 1941 in <strong>Hanover</strong>. Mae died in Savanna on January 31, 1988 and is<br />
buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Thomas, Delores “Lolly” June (Westcott) was born June 11, 1939 and was the<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> Floyd and Saima Wilhelmina (Saari) Westcott. She graduated from<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1957 and attended a Bible College. Lolly married Perry<br />
Thomas and three children were born to this union: Donna Thomas, Perry Thomas, and<br />
another son. The family lived in Loves Park, Illinois for many years. Lolly died<br />
November 22, 1989 in Loves Park.<br />
Thomas, Edward was born in about 1915. He was a student at Lindblom High School<br />
in Chicago, Illinois before he moved to <strong>Hanover</strong>. Elmer N. and Elva Millburn (Craig)<br />
Kuhns were his guardians when he lived in <strong>Hanover</strong>. Edward graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong><br />
High School in 1933.<br />
