Heidenreich, Laverne M. was born May 17, 1922 in Woodbine Township, Jo Daviess<br />

County and was the son <strong>of</strong> Delbert Lawrence and Ella Amelia (Schreck) Heidenreich.<br />

He married Viola Mae Miner on June 9, 1948 in Woodbine and five children were born<br />

to this union: Cheryl Anne (Heidenreich) Hartney, William L. Heidenreich, Susan<br />

Elaine (Heidenreich) Palmer, Sandra Heidenreich, and Jeffrey Heidenreich. He farmed<br />

most <strong>of</strong> his life; in rural Albany, Wisconsin, in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> during the 1960s, than<br />

moved to the Warren area in January 1969. Laverne worked at the Apple River cheese<br />

plant and also with his father as a painter. Laverne died March 14, 2001 and is buried in<br />

Elmwood Cemetery, Warren.<br />

Heidenreich, Viola Mae (Miner) was born January 6, 1929 in Pearl City, Illinois and<br />

was the daughter <strong>of</strong> George Franklin and Clara Pearl (Miller) Miner. She graduated<br />

from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1946. Viola married Laverne M. Heidenreich on June 9,<br />

1948 in Woodbine and five children were born to this union: Cheryl Anne<br />

(Heidenreich) Hartney, William L. Heidenreich, Susan Elaine (Heidenreich) Palmer,<br />

Sandra Heidenreich, and Jeffrey Heidenreich. They farmed in rural Albany, Wisconsin,<br />

in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> in the 1960s, and moved to the Warren area in January 1969. They<br />

retired to the village <strong>of</strong> Warren. Viola died July 7, 2006 and is buried in Elmwood<br />

Cemetery, Warren.<br />

Heitman, Mary Luella (Chapman) was born April 17, 1890 and was the daughter <strong>of</strong><br />

Joseph and Ravilla (Calvert) Chapman. She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in<br />

1907. Luella married Roy Albert Heitman and they lived in Carroll County, Illinois for<br />

many years. Roy was born November 11, 1891 and died in November 1964. Luella<br />

died in June 1977 in Thomson, Illinois.<br />

Heller, Beatrice “Bea” Mary (Creighton) was born March 29, 1909 in Galena, Illinois<br />

and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> James D. and Clara (Biren) Creighton. She married Floyd<br />

William Heller on September 5, 1932 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and two children were born to this<br />

union: Doris Ann (Heller) Ruane and Richard James Heller. Beatrice lived in Galena<br />

for a number <strong>of</strong> years before moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Floyd died in 1979 and<br />

Bea died January 30, 1992 in Mason City, Iowa. They are both buried in Memorial Park<br />

Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa.<br />

Helmich, Mary Elizabeth (Potter) was born September 7, 1935 in <strong>Hanover</strong> Township<br />

and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Robert Harold “Chris” and Geraldine Helen (McDowell) Potter.<br />

She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1953. She worked as a dental assistant in<br />

Port Clinton, Ohio until she married Robert “Bob” M. Helmich on June 5, 1956. Bob<br />

was station in Munich, Germany with the U.S. Army, and three sons were born to this<br />

union: Sam Robert Helmich, Ky Randal Helmich, and Carl Clayton Helmich. After the<br />

military they farmed in Jo Daviess County for a few years and later farmed in rural<br />

Gratiot and Montfort, Wisconsin. Mary was a bookkeeper for nine years at a law firm in<br />

Platteville until she retired in 2000. Mary died November 20, 2009 in Montfort and is<br />

buried in Log Church Cemetery.<br />

Henderson, Margery (Wilson) was born May 16, 1906 in Ohio and was the daughter<br />

<strong>of</strong> George Otis and Addie B. (Amsbaugh) Wilson. She married <strong>Hanover</strong> native, Dr.<br />

Roger Campbell Henderson on June 29, 1935 in Chicago and one son was born to this<br />

union: Dr. James Roger Henderson. The family lived in Xenia, Ohio most <strong>of</strong> their life.<br />

Margery died in Springfield, Ohio on January 16, 1985 and is buried in Xenia.<br />
