Petitgout, Mary Lou (Baker) was born October 2, 1930 in Dubuque, Iowa and was the<br />
daughter <strong>of</strong> Archie and Ada (Slattery) Baker. She married Robert Petitgout on October<br />
23, 1954 in Galena and one son was born to this union: Dale Petitgout. They lived in<br />
<strong>Hanover</strong> for a number <strong>of</strong> years, later moved to Clinton, Iowa, and Mary Lou later moved<br />
to DeWitt, Iowa. Mary Lou was self-employed as a home health aide in the Clinton,<br />
Iowa area and was also employed with Skyline Industry Centers in both Clinton and<br />
DeWitt. Mary Lou died October 27, 1998 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Petitgout, Paul Joseph was born April 30, 1926 in rural <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son <strong>of</strong><br />
Sherman Frances and Marguerite Octavie (Girot) Petitgout. Paul lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> his<br />
entire life and worked for Eaton Corporation until he retired in 1995. Paul died<br />
February 1, 1997 and his body was donated to science. A memorial service was held<br />
February 12, 1997 in <strong>Hanover</strong>.<br />
Petitgout, Robert John was born January 12, 1922 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was son <strong>of</strong> Robert<br />
and Martha (Davidson) Petitgout. He married Mary Lou Baker on October 23, 1954 in<br />
Galena and they had one son: Dale Petitgout. The family lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for a number<br />
<strong>of</strong> years and later moved to Clinton, Iowa where he worked at Climax Engines. Robert<br />
died October 12, 1980 in Clinton and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />
Petitgout, Sherman Frances was born April 20, 1897 in Rodden, Elizabeth Township,<br />
Jo Daviess County and was the son <strong>of</strong> Adolf Jule and Emma M. (Fontaine) Petitgout.<br />
He married Marguerite Octavie Girot on November 9, 1925 in Elizabeth and four<br />
children were born to this union: Shirley Ann (Petitgout) Fassiotto, Phyllis Jeanne<br />
(Petitgout) Kampmeier, James Edward Petitgout, and Paul Joseph Petitgout. Sherman<br />
was a retired carpenter and lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> most <strong>of</strong> his life. He died December 17,<br />
1984 and his body was donated to medical science research.<br />
Pettengill, Richard Lorenzo was born on February 9, 1933 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the son<br />
<strong>of</strong> Robert Dwight and Frances Harriet (Cliff) Pettengill. He moved from <strong>Hanover</strong> in<br />
1947. Richard was employed as a truck driver for the Chicago, Omaha & Denver<br />
Express Company. Richard was living in Dyersville, Iowa when he died June 11, 1982<br />
and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Dyersville.<br />
Pettera, Barbara “Barb” Ann (Blake) was born January 17, 1932 in Boscobel,<br />
Wisconsin and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Charles William and Amy Irene (Miller) Blake. She<br />
married Ralph Raymond Pettera on April 20, 1949 in Wauzeka, Wisconsin and 13<br />
children were born to this union: Judith Ann (Pettera) Moldenhauer, Theresa Jean<br />
(Pettera) Jackson, Deborah “Debbie” Lynn (Pettera) Schreiner, Katherine Louise<br />
(Pettera) Roberts, Raymond Louis Pettera who died in infancy, Marie Ellen (Pettera)<br />
Holland, Patricia Kay Pettera, John Raymond Pettera, George Wayne Pettera, Thomas<br />
James Pettera, Stephen Duane Pettera, Dennis Stephen Pettera, and James William<br />
Pettera. The couple lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> most <strong>of</strong> their married life. Barb worked at Eaton<br />
Corporation for many years. Barb died August 27, 2005 and is buried in Evergreen<br />
Cemetery.<br />
Pettera, Florence Darlene (Wilkenson) was born July 12, 1930 in <strong>Home</strong>r, Wisconsin<br />
and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Milton Ellis and Genevieve Ella (Tyler) Wilkenson. She<br />
married Lawrence Anthony Pettera on April 18, 1950 in Boscobel, Wisconsin and seven<br />
children were born to this union: Roger Lawrence Pettera, Bernard George Pettera,
