Pennsylvania. Norman died February 22, 1988 and cremation rites were accorded.<br />

Palfyn, Lillian (Glover) was born June 20, 1898 in Dewsbury, Yorkshire, England and<br />

was the daughter <strong>of</strong> Thomas and Jane (Ledgard) Glover. Lillian was a hairdresser and a<br />

practical nurse. She also was employed at the <strong>Hanover</strong> Woolen Mill. She married Paul<br />

C. Palfyn on December 1, 1960 in Chicago. Lillian lived in <strong>Hanover</strong> for many years.<br />

Lillian died March 14, 1989 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Palmer, Clara Belle (LeHew) was born July 17, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois and was the<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> William Catlette and Clara Belle (Michood) LeHew. She graduated from<br />

high school in Jefferson City, Missouri. Clara married Gilbert L. Palmer on June 4,<br />

1950 in Waukegan, Illinois and two sons were born to this union: Darrel Eugene Palmer<br />

and Terry LeRoy Palmer. The family moved to <strong>Hanover</strong> in the 1960s. Clara worked at<br />

the <strong>Hanover</strong> Senior Center, <strong>Grant</strong>’s <strong>Home</strong> in Galena, as a Crossing Guard in <strong>Hanover</strong>,<br />

the Scenic Tower near Elizabeth, and at the Apple River Fort in Elizabeth. Clara died<br />

June 27, 2002 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Palmer, Corinne Elizabeth (Henderson) was born November 22, 1901 in Tracer, Iowa<br />

and was the daughter <strong>of</strong> James Campbell and Mary Irvine (Speer) Henderson. She<br />

graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High School in 1920 and from Monmouth College in 1925.<br />

Corinne also attended the University <strong>of</strong> Illinois and received a Library Science degree in<br />

1937. Corinne married the Reverend Elmer Drew Palmer on June 14, 1938 in Geneseo,<br />

Illinois and no children were born to this union. She taught school for many years in the<br />

Geneseo area and they moved to <strong>Hanover</strong> shortly after they retired in the early 1970s.<br />

Corinne died January 13, 1985 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Parisi, Anthony “Tony” Joel was born September 13, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois and<br />

was the son <strong>of</strong> Jasper Ray Colmourn and Linda J. (Schaffer) Parisi. He married<br />

Michelle Tillwach on January 12, 1998 and he had three sons: Christopher Ray Parisi,<br />

Nicholas Martin Parisi, and Benjamin Joel Parisi. Tony was a self-employed drywall<br />

specialist. He was living in <strong>Hanover</strong> when he died May 14, 2003. Cremation rites were<br />

accorded.<br />

Parker, Agnes Grace (White) was born in March 10, 1890 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> Herbert and Rosa Anita (Winter) White. She graduated from <strong>Hanover</strong> High<br />

School in 1907. Agnes attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where she met her<br />

future husband. They wrote the music and words fro the Coe College song. Agnes<br />

married John Belle Parker on July 28, 1914 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and one son was born to this<br />

union: John Herbert Parker. The lived in Corydon, Iowa for a few years and moved<br />

back to <strong>Hanover</strong> where Agnes played the organ for the silent movies in the <strong>Hanover</strong><br />

Theater. John joined with her father to form the H. White-Parker business in <strong>Hanover</strong><br />

and in 1920 John also served as the Superintendent at the <strong>Hanover</strong> School for one year.<br />

In 1930 they moved to California, living in various places, while John taught in different<br />

schools. Agnes died April 25, 1935 during an operation. She is buried in Hillside<br />

Cemetery, Bieber, California.<br />

Parker, Charlotte Bell (McCoy) was born December 31, 1899 in <strong>Hanover</strong> and was the<br />

daughter <strong>of</strong> Charles Joseph and Ida Flora (Bell) McCoy. She married Roscoe William<br />

Parker on May 14, 1925 in Dubuque, Iowa and two daughters were born to this union:<br />

Lillian Mae (Parker) Gragg and Norma Jean (Parker) Davis. Charlotte taught piano and<br />

organ in <strong>Hanover</strong> for 60 years before she retired in 1982. Charlotte moved to Arlington<br />

Heights, Illinois to be near her daughters. Charlotte died May 18, 1991 in Arlington
